"In the past 10 to 15 years, something unthinkable occured in the townships of South Africa. A place where the bitter struggle against injustice was waged relentlessly by Black South Africansprimarily. The struggle to liberate the black majority from tyrannical rule of the white separatist regime, under the system called APARTHEID"
In the 1960's, severe laws prohibited black South Africans from participating in the formal economy through business. The government systematically promulgated laws which were design to confine black South Africans to a life of perpetual servitude. However, the people organised themselves and fought back using various strategies and methods. This resistance culminated in a democratic breakthrough which South Africa achieved in 1994 when the APARTHEID laws were repealed and the new government was given power to rule, based on the will of the majority of people.
South African Townships Started To Experience A Slow Influx Of Illegal Immigrants Around 2010, Some Applied For Various Visas Under The South African Law, To Have A Refugee Status, Or Asylum In South Africa. There Was A Sudden Explosion Akin To An Invasion By Other Foreigners In South Africa Around 2015 Onwards. They Came And Overwhelmed The Locals In The Townships WithBad Business Practices, And Eventually They Displaced Locals From Their Hard Fought For Township Retail Economy.

"In The 60's, NAFCOC Was Established In Consultation With Oliver Reginald TamboAnd His Fellow Comrades In Zambia and has remained one of the oldest and largest business chambers in South Africa with a representation in all 9 provinces, all regions and local municipality levels ofSouth Africa. NAFCOC’smain objective is to unite, promote and encourage the development of black and small business inSouth Africaand thereby draw the majority from the peripheries to the frontlines of economic activity and decision making. It was established by black traders inSoweto. NAFCOC’sfounding fathers include some ofSouth Africa’sblack business luminaries such asDr Richard Maponya, Dr Sam Motseunyane,Bigvai Masekela and S.Z Conco. These traders sought to use NAFCOC as a vehicle to fight for their rights against a government that treated blacks as second class citizens. Naturally, the organisation became involved in the politics of the day and found itself supporting the African National Congress, which eventually became the ruling party of South Africa.NAFCOCalso contributed significantly to legislation on Black Economic Empowerment and to this day, continues to be an active voice for the welfare of small business inSouth Africa".
In TheProvince Of The Free State, This Bad Business Practices Observed Elsewhere in The Country Of South Africa, Also Came Through And Became Widespread. It Is Currently So Widespread That Very Few, If Any, Of Native And Indigenous South Africans Operate In The Township Retail Sector. The Leadership Of Nafcoc In The Province Of The Free State Started Making A Lot Of Noise, Under The Leadership Of Mr Tshepo Matsaba. Luckily, And Grudgingly, Common Sense Prevailed Albeit After Much Damage Was Done By Lack Of Law Enforcement In General, Which Had A Catastrophic Effect On Local Businesses And Communities.
